About Our Company

Antico Mercante is an importer and distributor of specialty foods, with a strong selection of artisan cheeses and estate olive oil.

Our suppliers are small family-run companies. We stay away from the big corporations. We are a small company too and pride ourselves on the personal attention we are able to give our customers.

Owner Francesco Boeri is a long-time member of Slow Food and works actively to promote regional and organic products from his native Italy.

Antico Mercante recently added a line of fresh specialty veggies, including wild greens (wild asparagus, fiddle head fern, sea beans etc.) and specialty mushrooms (porcini, morels, chanterell, St. George etc.). Also added is a group of products from Spain, including cheese, meats, olives, and sweets.
